Certification of solid biofuels

The DLG experts certify solid biofuels according to the product-specific DLG quality standards. In addition to the criteria specified for this effectiveness test, further product properties can be tested and certified. Solid biofuels that pass the tests receive the DLG quality seal.

All DLG-certified operating resources are subject to constant monitoring. Consistent product quality is ensured by regular repeat tests or analyses. In addition, samples are taken from the manufacturer or from retailers.

In focus

For solid biofuels, it is important to observe the ash melting behaviour. The products are tested according to the standards DIN EN 14961-1, DIN EN 14961-2 and DIN EN 14961-3. There they are checked for particle size, calorific value or nitrogen and heavy metal content.

Your advantages

After passing the test, the products receive the DLG quality seal. Thanks to this seal, buyers can be sure that this product fulfils all the important practical requirements, as confirmed by a neutral testing laboratory. The high profile of the seal and the trust that practitioners place in it supports your marketing and sales.
