Recent developments have given us cause to add our Internet address to our seals, as was the practice with previous medals, in order to more clearly highlight our mission as the German Agricultural Society (DLG). This change goes beyond our obligations and ensures that consumers can obtain information about DLG’s awards and work even faster.
In the event that you have already commissioned packaging material with the DLG ‘Certified Quality – Test 2024’ and ‘Certified Quality – Annually Awarded’ medals that still bear the supplement ‘DLG.org’, nothing concerning the use of the medal will change. As the testing system according to the ‘DLG 5-Point Scheme®’ always remains the same, participation in testing is voluntary and testing is usually only carried out once a year following your registration, consumers can use the ‘Annually Awarded’ or ‘Test 2024’ slogans to obtain information about the DLG awards according to the ‘DLG 5-Point Scheme®’ without the need for extensive research. Clear assignment of your products to our tests is ensured by stating the year or the information ‘Annually’. We additionally offer consumers the greatest possible degree of transparency by providing exhaustive information on the precise test criteria, the test methods and an overview of all food tests.

"DLG Classic" medal
- Products that have successfully participated in DLG quality tests for at least 5 consecutive years can apply for the "DLG Classic".
- The reference year is the first successful award year.
- The use of the label is automatically extended by the annual successful participation in the respective DLG quality test.
