With its international experience and expert network, the DLG Test Center offers you comprehensive test services in the context of approval-relevant tests in accordance with standards and regulations. - In addition to conducting the test, each test includes documentation of the test results with photos and measured values as well as preparation of the report.
- Our test laboratory network meets the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 and is designated as a technical service for the homologation and type approval of vehicles and vehicle parts by the German Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA) and the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI).
- We are designated for the type approval of lights and headlights by the Vehicle Safety Certification Center in Taiwan (VSCC). DLG TestService is also a national test body for the OECD Tractor Codes.
Homologation: tests and expert reports
Thanks to our extensive knowledge of the rules and regulations, DLG TestService can organise the entire homologation procedure for your vehicles. The tests are conducted in our own test laboratory and in suitable external test laboratories or the manufacturer’s own facilities.

Now also engine tests in accordance with the NRMM Directive
New engines in mobile machines and devices (NRMM, Non-Road Mobile Machinery), such as e.g. construction machines and self-propelled working machines, are required to adhere to the emission limit values for gaseous pollutants and particulate pollutants in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/1628. The aim of the directive is to reduce the pollutant emissions of NRMM.
The pollutant values of NRMM engines can now also be tested in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/1628 on the DLG chassis dynamometer at the DLG Test Center Technology and Farm Inputs. Realistic simulation of the load under typical practical conditions enables precise online measurement of the exhaust gas emissions of the overall system by running through various load curves. Time-consuming and costly measurements using portable emission measurement systems (PEMS) in practical operation under typical operating loads are therefore forgone.
