The DLG experts test and certify the dolomite and dolomite/wood ash mixtures used in the Baden-Württemberg state government's liming programme for regeneration-oriented soil protection liming in terms of their essential product properties, thus ensuring consistent product quality and the best possible supply for forests. The products used for soil protection liming mainly include processed magnesium carbonates (dolomites) and dolomite/wood ash mixtures. Depending on the product, value-determining criteria such as the content of various ingredients, grain size distribution and reactivity, as well as compliance with important limit values according to DüMV, are tested.
