At the Test Centre for Technology and Farm Inputs of DLG TestService, we certify lime fertilisers in accordance with the product-specific DLG quality standard. In addition to the established criteria for this efficacy test, other product properties can be tested and certified. Lime fertilisers that pass the tests receive the DLG quality seal.
All DLG-certified farm inputs are subject to continuous monitoring. Consistent product quality is ensured through regular follow-up tests or analyses. In addition, random samples are taken at the manufacturer’s facility or in retail outlets.

While only natural Lime fertilisers have been tested by the DLG to date, there is a growing need for clear differentiation based on origin. In the future, therefore, Lime fertilisers from all sources will be tested. The updated certification mark makes these origins immediately visible—for example, from natural deposits, sugar beet processing, and the steel and metallurgical industries.
