Participation criteria

The “Quality from Germany” label is awarded to food producers, fruit and vegetable growers, as well as providers of dishes and beverages who manufacture their products in Germany.

The following criteria must be met:

• Production or cultivation in Germany
  Food production takes place in Germany according to German quality standards, in compliance with LMIV Art. 26, Sec. 3: country of origin or place of provenance. For growers, this means location and cultivation in Germany.
   
• Traditional recipes / products
  Products that have been established for at least 30 years.
   
• Product quality verified
  Products are tested for their sensory quality (taste evaluation). Processed products are additionally subject to packaging and labelling checks.
